"I’m editing this review. I initially health with Antuan and had a nice experience. Now a year later and Antuan is gone and I’ve been given the run around since. I’ve never ever spoken with Destiny. I’ve previously had an insurance agent and not only did I speak with the agent…the agent made sure to schedule a yearly appointment to go over policies, any changes and new products. Not so here. I reached out about my new homeowner policy rate increase. I wanted to review the policy to look for any possible savings. I dealt with Allec who said he couldn’t give me a new quote with changes to the policy until my renewal date. Sounded strange, but ok. I went ahead and paid the initial policy bill believing any updates changes would just be refunded. Well SF sent me partial refund and said I needed to submit a replacement cost estimate. Now Allec never mentioned this. No problem. I reached out to Destiny via the app to see what forms I needed AND who I need to submit them to. The only response I got was a generic email saying Jennifer would follow up. Never heard from Jennifer. I called the office to get the information and was sent a text with Jennifer’s email. I emailed and still no response after weeks of waiting. I had to reach out to TX department of insurance to finally get a response…not from Jennifer but from Allec. Now there are new options (lower) for my policy per Allec. Not sure why those lower options weren’t disclosed earlier. Now I am receiving a new bill for $4 with no explanation. Avoid them. Unprofessional and dishonest. No longer recommend SF or this agency.
